{"id":458,"date":"2015-05-01T01:43:21","date_gmt":"2015-05-01T01:43:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/huicholesfilm.com\/en\/?p=458"},"modified":"2017-07-05T13:07:28","modified_gmt":"2017-07-05T18:07:28","slug":"life-accord-in-wirikuta-productive-and-cultural-projects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/huicholesfilm.com\/en\/life-accord-in-wirikuta-productive-and-cultural-projects\/","title":{"rendered":"Life Accord in Wirikuta &#8211; Productive and Cultural Projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are very proud to share with all of you the effort of a \u00a0very important number of civil organizations who are working in Wirikuta.<\/p>\n<p>The Wix\u00e1rika people since the very beginning of the movement has shown its concern about the living conditions of the inhabitants of Wirikuta; their concern is both for the present as well as for the future, and particularly if mining companies work in their territory.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>For many years, a bunch of organizations and private initiatives have started productive and cultural projects in the region with the aim of developing and strengthening sustainable alternatives for the inhabitants of the Baj\u00edo and the hills of Catorce. These alternatives want to raise the living standards, to reinforce the social fabric and to preserve the natural environment of the region- unique in the world in terms of biodiversity.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>What we call today <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dropbox.com\/l\/xRCxHErEferyeK1p2PpUJs\" target=\"_blank\">LIFE ACCORD<\/a><\/strong> is the intertwining of people, communities, organizations and projects that have the following guidelines:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Culture<\/li>\n<li>Exchange of knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Environment<\/li>\n<li>Tenement and food sovereignty<\/li>\n<li>Conscious and participative tourism<\/li>\n<li>Conscious businesses<\/li>\n<li>Community health<\/li>\n<li>Culture of saving and self-financing<\/li>\n<li>Human rights<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The strengthening of the social structure of the area we have so far seen is an incentive to continue to search for new technologies, capacitation and support form other organizations to attain a healthy relation between the inhabitants, pilgrims and environment of Wirikuta.<\/p>\n<p>You can download english and spanish <strong>Life Accord<\/strong> document from our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dropbox.com\/l\/xRCxHErEferyeK1p2PpUJs\" target=\"_blank\">Dropbox.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Plkease, read, support and share.
